Excursion along the Coast of the Gods

Start by visiting Reggio Calabria, the city of the Bronzes, because the famous Riace bronzes are kept here. The seafront of Reggio, known as the most beautiful kilometer in Italy, a name given, not by chance, by the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio, is definitely worth a visit. Also worth visiting are the Aragonese Castle and the National Museum of Magna Graecia.
Pizzo
a medieval gem on the Coast of the Gods, offers narrow, picturesque alleys that tell the story of fishermen. Joachim Murat's castle hosts cultural events, while the Church of Piedigrotta, carved into the rock, displays frescoes telling the life of Jesus. The famous Truffle of Pizzo, an ice cream with a heart of melted chocolate, is not to be missed and can be enjoyed in Piazza della Repubblica.
Tropea
is a gem on the Tyrrhenian Sea, with a rocky coastline and unique views. The historic center, overlooking the beach, is home to the Cathedral of Mary Most Holy of Romania. In summer, events such as the festival of the Tropea Red Onion, protected by the "PGI" trademark, take place.
Other places that can be easily reached are: Stilo, Gerace, Zungri with its caves, Serra with the Sanctuary and Zambrone with the Diver's Paradise.
